August 10, 2007 we were mentioned in The Houston Chronicle for our participation in the Literacy Volunteers of America Annual Spelling Bee.  Although we came in 2nd place over all we did not come home empty handed.  We won the SPIRIT STICK and boy did we earn it!  With our staff there was not a moment of silence when our team was up to the podium, (perhaps they would have won 1st place had they had that silence) ha-ha.  Well regardless we are SUPER proud of our team.  Special thanks to our team members Janet Milleson, Cindy Robinson and Pam Tate-Lavender.  Additional recognition goes out to Gordon Lavender who helped hoist us over the top in spirit this year.

Groups Compete For Spelling Bee Title

“A national spelling bee was much in the news recently, but one close to home generated a great deal of interest, also. The Literacy Volunteers of America – Montgomery County chapter held its fifth annual LVA Corporate Spelling Bee at Montgomery College, preceded by a barbecue dinner.  

This year eight teams spelled for the title: Rotary Club-Lake Conroe, Montgomery College Faculty, Forest Hills Book Club, Rotary Club-The Woodlands, John Cooper School-Upper Faculty, American Finasco, the Office of District Attorney Mike McDougal and the Office of Conroe Mayor Tommy Metcalf. Emerging victorious were the team from Metcalf’s office with Marla Porter, Peggy Brown and Marcus Winberry. The winning word was Renaissance.”

I am very entusiastic today after reviewing recent internal reports that show American Finasco, Inc. is on target for yet another record year.  The business of Commmercial Debt Management is growing. With the support of our fantastic nationwide group of Regional and District Managers servicing our clients we are able to reach more clients than ever before.  This in turn helps to save more businesses from closing their doors! 

The Commercial Debt Management industry has always struggled with the fact that people sometimes just dont know that there is a business like ours geared to specifically help companies with troubled debt.  The more the internet grows and the more we can focus on our networking the closer we get to reaching these businesses at the time when they need it the most.  The future is looking brighter than ever for our clients as well as American Finasco!

American Finasco has just been retained by a major construction company in Nevada to do a debt workout program on approximately $2.5 million of vendor debt.

As the retail market for new homes falls, the builder is being forced to sell some of his properties at auction and take a loss.

By using American Finasco to reduce and settle this debt with all his vendors, this builder will be able to survive this downtime in the housing market.

I am excited to say that I just received a copy of the national television special that will be featuring American Finasco, Inc.  We were contacted by World Business Digest last year to be a part of this special segment they are doing.  They chose us for this segment specifically because they wanted our owner Gary Milleson to give his personal insight into the world of Commercial Debt Management.  This segment focuses on what the Commercial Debt Management Industry can do for the struggling business owner facing bankruptcy.

American Finasco is not the first of companies to enter the world of blogging and it certainly will not be the last.  Blogging has taken the web by storm, offering a personal outlet for individuals to speak and communicate amongst each other.  American Finasco is constantly trying to communicate with financially troubled small business owners to get the word out there that we can help!  Small to Medium sized businesses often don’t know that there is a company like American Finasco out there.  We are more than willing to walk each business owner step by step through our process.  Our process stops the creditor calls and enables owners to focus on what is most important to them, the health and production of their business.  I am glad to start this blog today and look forward to sharing more about what we do for our clients and some fantastic success stories as we continue to achieve them.  Have  a wonderful holiday weekend.
